Riders taking the option to vist Kendal can now enjoy the route along the old canal in all weathers following the completion of resurfacing work on a popular cycle path. The 1.5km section from Burton Rd to Canal Head near the town centre is part of a larger Kendal Transport Plan which has seen other improvements in the town including the partial opening of the new Riverside Route and extra toucan crossings at busy road junctions.
